The Green Party have joined forces with Ken Livingstone in a bid to stop Boris Johnson becoming Mayor of London.

In a surprise move that could alter the dynamics of the race, the Greens urged their supporters to give their second preferences to Mr Livingstone to prevent the Tory candidate taking City Hall

I am not sure what percentage of votes the green party is supposed to hold in any polls on the Mayoral elections, and if teaming up with Ken will help or harm either of them? The latter I hope.
