Most expensive fuel in Europe

Post  gingerlad on Thu May 22, 2008 1:52 pm

I just looked up fuel prices in Spain, compared to here in the UK.

In Spain Unleaded = 87p a litre. Diesel = 83p a litre

Here it is £1.13 for Unleaded and £1.24 for Diesel (and rising)

That is 26p difference on Unleaded and 41p difference on Diesel.

Bear in mind that Spain and all the other European countries get their fuel from the same source as us. The only reason we are the most expensive is, Gordon-tax the family-Brown.

I agree with you Gingerlad, that is why I have provided a link to a UKGov petition to lower the tax on fuel duty on a seperate thread. Sign it straight away as there is only a few days left to go.
